Shildon Running & Athletic Club

General Information

Shildon Running & Athletic Club was formed in 1986 and is based at the Stadium 2000 on Middridge Lane in Shildon.

The club is open to anyone from the age of 8 years upwards.

The club aims to provide a safe and friendly environment where children and adults can take part in many athletic activities under the guidance of their experienced coaches.

The club meets every Monday and Wednesday at 6.00.pm. Anyone interested in joining can come along for a free try-out session on either of those nights.

Meetings and Events

Shildon Running & Athletic Club compete in many Cross Country and Track & Field events throughout the year, and a number of their athletes have competed at both County and National level.

Costs and Charges

Annual subscriptions;

Under 11 - Ł2

Junior (11 - 17) - Ł10

Senior (18+) - Ł15

Nightly fees Ł1.50 per session.
